The user can use multiple languages and several coders can collaborate on a particular project. It has security by locating both the database and files together in one file. This software helps analyze, manage, shape, and analyze qualitative data. Several coders can collaborate easily on a particular project while providing comparisons of how each researcher coded the data (Creswell & Poth, 2013). Data can be exported to SPSS, HTML, XML, and CSV. Also, it helps with coding, memos, and findings, into a project. This program helps with organizing text, graphic, audio, and visual data files. The mobile companion, MAXApp, allows the user to use smartphones for collecting data, coding, and memoing, which can be directly transferred for further analysis (Creswell & Poth, 2013).
Several coders can collaborate easily on a particular project. Data can be exported to SPSS and Excel, and the software can import data from Excel and SPSS programs. Also, the program can sort images and video. This software helps with evaluating and interpreting qualitative texts, developing theories and testing theoretical conclusions.
